Progressive Oil & Gas have been tasked with sourcing a Senior Design Engineer to work on a 1 year fixed term contract with one of Aberdeen's leading service companys. If you impress, there is a genuine possibility you will be kept on in this role.

With a wide ranging product/service base, this company offer a varied job role within a thriving environment. You will be given the opportunity to design from concept through testing, manufacturing and completion.

The successful candidate MUST possess the following:

- An ability to produce high spec engineering designs and associated engineering documents.
- An ability to progress all sizes of engineering projects - working on own or as part of team on larger projects.
- An ability to carry out project work, interfacing with the Principal engineer and end client as required.
- A constant awareness of project progress & targets.

Key skills required are listed below:

- 3D CAD (Inventor preferred).
- FEA.
- Mechanical Calculations (hand and MathCad).
- Oil Industry design experience or design of mechanical/hydraulic equipment.
- Experience in a senior design role.
